SUMMARY
The Transportation Coordinator will be responsible for supervising our team of drivers and assigning driving assignments. They will be in charge of creating driver's schedules and ensuring that all transportation operations run smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage a team of drivers
- Assign driving assignments to drivers
- Create driver's schedules
- Ensure that all transportation operations run smoothly
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and laws
- Maintain accurate records of transportation operations
- Resolve any transportation-related issues that may arise
• Requires high degree of administrative ability, especially in terms of problem solving and attention to detail.
• Skilled in interpersonal communications and organization.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently as well as with a team.
• Computer literate, fluent in Microsoft Office and Outlook, including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Hotel / Resort experience a plus.
• Requires office and computer time, can be long periods at a desk.
• Should be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
